INTERIOR DESIGN: LOFT BEDROOM 2
This large artist loft in Brooklyn had 5 bedrooms that were all in need of attention – drywall was never finished, spray foam was everywhere, and second floor rooms only had plywood subfloors. I worked with a limited budget to create a nicely designed room that feels spacious and cozy, with ample room for storage.

The finished space feels fresh and open. There's room for a desk, the closet space has room to add a small dresser as well as hang clothes, and custom shelving provides added storage.
Planning & Specs
FLOOR PLAN
I worked to create a room that had plenty of storage, but still felt open and spacious. I built some custom furniture pieces to fit the space, such as the custom closet unit, nightstand with shelving, and custom wall shelves.
Constraints:
- Limited budget
- Low Ceilings
- Pipes – common occurrence in industrial spaces, takes a little planning to ensure they're not intrusive.
Goals:
- Make the space functional w/good flow
- Increase storage space
- Add flooring & repair drywall
